The 10 birds are almost extinct all over the world.
.Andean Cock-of-the-Rock:Deforestation, habitat damage, and poaching are the primary factors contributing to the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock bird's extinction. They may be found in Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, and Peru in the Andes Mountains of South America. Their native home, dense rainforests, is presently threatened by environmental factors.
.New Caledonian Parakeet:The woods of New Caledonia, a region in the Pacific Ocean, are home to the New Caledonian Parakeet (Cyanoramphus saisseti). Deforestation, agricultural land development, illegal hunting, and invasion by foreign predators (such cats and rodents) are the causes of this bird's demise. They also struggle to live due to habitat crises and a shortage of food. It does not naturally exist in any other nation and is now limited to New Caledonia. The species is currently in danger of going extinct as a result.
.Philippine Eagle:Due to excessive deforestation, agricultural expansion, and construction projects, the Philippine eagle's primary habitat—tropical forests—has been severely damaged, making it endangered. Another factor contributing to extinction is a shortage of food and predation. It is mostly found in the Philippine islands of Mindanao, Leyte, Samar, and Luzon. It is included in worldwide conservation efforts since it is one of the rarest species in the world.
.California condor:Because of lead shooting, habitat degradation, and poaching, the California condor bird is endangered. They also have an extremely low rate of reproduction. The United States states of California, Arizona, Utah, and portions of Mexico are currently home to this bird. Conservation initiatives have resulted in a slight rise in numbers.
.Spoon-billed Sandpiper:The primary causes of impending extinction of the spoon-billed sandpiper (Calydris pygma) are habitat loss, wetland drying, hunting, and climate change.Countries such as China, Russia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and South Korea have coastal wetlands where it can be found. To breed, they travel to the Chukchi Peninsula in Russia.Despite conservation efforts, they are becoming extinct day by day.
.Bengal Florican:Mostly located in Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Nepal, and Cambodia, the Bengal florican is an endangered species. Hunting, conversion to agricultural land, and elimination of natural habitat are the primary reasons of its demise. Their survival is threatened by the absence of protected sanctuaries and green meadows.
.New Zealand kakapo:The New Zealand kakapo is a flightless, nocturnal parrot. Predators and habitat damage are the major reasons it is in danger of going extinct. At the moment, it can only be found in New Zealand, where conservation measures are being taken to boost its population. One of the rarest birds in the world is the kakapo.
.White-bellied Heron:Hunting, lack of food, habitat degradation and river pollution are the main reasons for the extinction of the White-bellied Heron (Ardea insignis).Bangladesh, India, Myanmar and parts of Bhutan are home to this endangered species. The protection of this species depends on conservation efforts.
.Great Indian Bustard:The primary causes of the Great Indian Bustard's extinction are habitat damage, hunting, and agricultural growth. In certain parts of India and Pakistan, it is now accessible in small amounts. There are now only a few hundred left in India, where they were once common. To protect these birds, strict measures are required.
